African Wild...In Pictures...

“I was not the lion, but it fell upon me to give the lion’s roar” - Winston Churchill, politician, 1874-1965

Rhino horn is not medicine!(Simply a myth)

Did you know... elephants are usually right or left-tusked?

All pictures in this blog have been borrowed from Premier Safaris  and their Facebook page

Premier Safaris is an East African safari company based in Uganda, specializing in safaris throughout the entire region.

We spend so much money building walls around ourselves---smartphones that stifle interpersonal interaction, fenced houses to keep others out, TV, internet---  but what if we came out of ourselves and smelt the roses?
I want to experience nature and wildlife, at least before we destroy it all. The wild animals in this blog are endangered mostly because of poaching. For others it's due to destruction of their natural habitat.

I found this website, Marasa with links and information to national parks and game reserves in East Africa. This is something I would love to do before I die.

"One's destination is never a place, but a new way of seeing things." - Henry Miller
East Africa (Uganda, Kenya & Tanzania) has the biggest concentration of remaining Lions in the wild (Est.32,000)
